Introduce yourself and your car:
My name is Claude Provost, I live in Roquefort les Pins, in the French Alps and I have been racing for 52 years..
I race a Berlinette, Alpine A110 1800. I have this one since 1976. It is a car that I have turned for racing.
Tell us about the modifications done to your car:
The original engine was 1650cc, it has been increased to 1860cc. The gear box is Monte Carlo style. The suspension is from a Group 4 era Alpine with triangular arms. I think those are the essentials about the modifications to the car.
Describe the sound of the car, and what you love about it the most:
This car, what I feel, the sound… it is an almost free flowing exhaust. You can feel the speed coming up to your ear for what you hear! I have basically only driven Berlinettes, I would not say that I am an expert in Berlinettes, but I am passionate about them. And… We are waiting for the new Alpine.
